GCI ConnectMD offers healthcare providers a way to collaborate on consultations, referrals, research, data exchange, and training. Specifically, links can be created by connecting separate organizations together, directly or through the ConnectMD medical network. Additionally, private wide area networks (WANs) can be implemented for organizations with multiple locations.
Virtual Private Network (VPN) Access
Providing anytime, anywhere access for designated staff, trusted vendors, consultants, or outside contractors to securely connect to corporate resources via broadband connections. Working with customers, GCI ConnectMD can provide controlled, authenticated access for a defined set of personnel to a defined set of resources on your corporate network. This VPN access will allow employees to access critical information quickly and efficiently regardless of location, ultimately allowing employees to be more responsive and accessible to individuals receiving services and to provide an empowered work environment. The VPNs can be hardware or software based, depending on the deployment requirements.
